Abdul Waheed Mahesar is an Associate Professor and Chairman of the Department of Information Technology and In-charge chairman of Data Science Program at Faculty of Engineering and Technology, University of Sindh, Jamshoro, Pakistan. He did his BCS (Honours) in Computer Science from Institute of Mathematics and Computer Science university of Sindh, Jamshoro, Pakistan. He obtained Ph.D. in Computer Science from International Islamic University (IIUM), Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and Postdoctorate from National Autonomous University of Mexico City, Mexico (UNAM). His research interests are multidisciplinary in nature and grounded in scientific principles and specifically lie in the field of Complex Networks, Network Modelling and Analysis, Data Science and Applied Mathematical Modelling.
